Student Affairs.
"Our whole economy can be helped by making companies aware of the need to focus on practitioners. In the future, I expect to see more partnering between universities and companies. Educators can teach individuals how to learn, how to think. And companies can instruct and train them in the firm's specific cultural and technical requirements. It's a new adage: "hire qualities, train skills." "At universities, it is our mission to motivate and inspirit individuals--to help them develop qualities, ethics, discipline, and the ability to approach the learning of new technologies."      -Brenda Morris, Baylor University
