Description

Want to learn more about how to be involved with big data?

BD4ISU is a NIH-funded grant to Indiana State University in partnership with Ohio State University for assisting underrepresented students into graduate studies and careers in the biomedical field. While this grant directly impacts students, it has rewarding outcomes for interested faculty as well.  Faculty components of the grant include training, mentoring, innovative instructional methods, and curriculum development. Ohio State University (OSU) will provide workshops to ISU faculty and OIT staff. Topics will vary from program specific to general big data topics that will be of interest across campus. The OSU will also provide the expertise in course design and educational program development to the faculty at Indiana State University.

Come to the information session held on February 16th at 1 p.m. at the Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence.  Dr. Bai and his team will share information for interested faculty.
