Description

The 2nd Annual Indiana State University Black Women’s Student Summit to be held October 3, 2015.  The theme of this year’s conference is “Creating a Prepared Community Through Intelligence and Ingenuity”. The goals are:

  • To provide the participants with culturally based information that will help you successfully navigate through your educational journey at ISU, and;
  • To show students the strength in and significance of being part a larger community brought together to support and encouraged.

The purpose of the summit is to provide you information and support for maximizing your college experience; and to show you the strength in and significance of being part of a community of strong women of color.  Participants in the summit will enjoy two delicious meals (breakfast and a luncheon), extraordinary workshops to choose from, and conference gifts including a summit t-shirt.  The summit is free.  We hope that you will join us in making this a day to remember on the ISU campus. It takes all of us to make this day great and that includes you! We look forward to seeing you at the summit!  The summit is by Sponsored by the Women of Promise Committee.
