Description

Fences is a Tony Award winning play by August Wilson set in the 1950's and explores the African American experience and examines race relations. The play won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for best drama.

Dr. Michael Arrington, Associate Professor in the Communications Department at Indiana State University plays the lead role as Troy, head of the

household. The play is free, but we are asking for a canned or dried good (to be donated to campus food pantry) and a ticket is required for

admission.  Tickets can be picked up at the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center.
