It seems like common sense that America is becoming more secular. No more prayer in school. Church attendance down. Rise in number of people claiming “no religion.” Nonetheless, things may not be quite what the headlines suggest. We will examine how families hand down religious/non-religious values from generation to generation. and explore recent research on Americans religious trends over the last 30 years.
