"A Piece of my Heart"

Shirley Lauro's dramatization of the true stories of six American women who served in the Vietnam War is a powerful and sobering experience. Three neophyte nurses, an intelligence officer, a Red Cross volunteer, and a USO entertainer struggle to make sense of a war that irrevocably changed them and a nation that shunned them.

"A Piece of my Heart" premiered in New York at Manhattan Theatre Club, and has since had over 1000 productions here and abroad. It has recently been named "The most enduring play on Vietnam in the nation," by The Vietnam Vets Association.

Adult tickets are $10, ISU student tickets are free with a valid ID, and Non-ISU student tickets are $5 with a valid ID. To purchase tickets, please call our ticket office at (812) 237-3333. The New Theater Ticket Office will be open noon - 4:30 p.m., Monday Oct. 16 - Friday, Oct. 20. The Dreiser Ticket Office will be open one hour before each performance.
