Description
The Honors College and the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies invite you to a presentation from Dada Maheshvarananda in Pickerl Hall.
Maheshvarananda is a Yogic Monk, social activist, author, and founder of the PROUT Institute in Caracas, Venezuela. The mission of the PROUT Institute is "to empower all people to improve their quality of life within a more just society by fostering and promoting worker cooperatives, self-reliant communities, environmental protection, universal ethics, and spiritual values."
His books include After Capitalism: Economic Democracy in Action (2012) and Cooperative Games for a Cooperative World: Facilitating Trust, Communication and Spiritual Connection (2017).
