Hands-on Keys

The class introduces students to piano through familiar vocal songs using “Do, Re, Mi” patterns.  The focus is to teach students piano basics through rhythm, pitch, and singing.

Guitar Slingers

This class is for beginners, offering an opportunity for students to learn guitar basics and create music while working with a group of peers.

Movements Through Dance

This class provides children the opportunity to explore and learn basic dance moves from different genres such as folk, hip-hop and salsa.

The Imagination Stage

This class introduces students to theater. Throughout the week, children learn body movement, how to project their voices and build a character through enjoyable workshops and practical applications. Students explore what it takes to create a character for the stage through the magic of imagination!

Look What I Made!

Art activities that emphasize challenging a student’s developmental level through multiple approaches and materials increase confidence in social, creative, and academic abilities. Kids boost fine motor skills as they cut, tear, and manipulate all sorts of art materials in this weeklong art exploration while developing spatial awareness in landscape drawings, still life paintings, and small sculptures. A large part of the week’s class will focus on improving students’ awareness of color as they paint scenes from stories, draw self-portraits, and build structures.
