home / housing & facilities
Summer Honors Students will be housed in Pickerl Hall on the Indiana State University campus. All rooms are air-conditioned and are double-occupancy. The Summer Honors staff will assign each participant a roommate. There is a lounge area on each floor for Summer Honors students to mingle. While Pickerl Hall is coed, students are separated by gender by floor.
A counselor, who is an Indiana State University student, will lead a small group of Summer Honors students. Multiple counselors will reside on each floor and will be accessible to participants 24 hours a day.
During the Summer Honors Week, students have full access to the Student Recreation Center, which features a lap pool, leisure pool, 22-person spa, cardio and strength conditioning equipment, and a three-court gymnasium.
Summer Honors students will also have time to hang out in the Hulman Memorial Student Union where they can watch T.V. or play pool in the Sycamore Lounge.
During their free time, students may also spend time studying or completing assignments in the Cunningham Memorial Library.
