Roles in the College of Technology:

  • Serves as liaison to local industries to help generate experiences and internship/job opportunities for technology students.
  • Directs career services for technology students in collaboration with the ISU Career Center.
  • Manages print and electronic communications for the COT as a means of educating internal and external audiences and raising awareness of COT programs and achievements.
  • Advises the Females in Technology student organization and the Technology Student Leadership Council.
  • Represents the COT in state and regional STEM initiatives.
  • Promotes and recruits females and minorities in technology career fields.
  • Serves as the lead for the Indiana Girls Collaborative Project in which ISU is the convening organization.
  • Manages Technology Career Advocates, a group of undergraduate technology students who assist with recruiting and outreach activities and peer mentoring
