Dr. Thomas W. Nesser is a professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport at Indiana State University where his primary focus is the development and teaching of courses in human performance, and strength and conditioning. He is a past NSCA state director for Indiana and former member of the NSCA Education Committee. Dr. Nesser has served on the written exam committee for the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association and currently serves on the CSCCa Education Committee. His undergraduate degree is in Sports Science from St. Olaf College, masters degree in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Nesser’s research is in human performance with particular interest in performance related core strength and stabilization.
