Program in Dietetics

Graduation and/or Program Completion Requirements

In order to receive a verification statement from Indiana State University that signifies completion of the Coordinated Program in Dietetics, a student must satisfactorily complete all course work, clinical practicum requirements, and all other requirements to earn and receive a bachelor’s or master’s degree.  Once a student completes the program and all requirements to receive a degree, he or she must request an official transcript be sent to the Program Director showing that a degree has been awarded.  Upon review of all coursework and confirmation of degree awarded, the Program Director will issue a Verification Statement that confirms completion of the program and registration eligibility by qualifying to sit for the national registration examination.   Students graduating from this program are immediately eligible for membership in the American Dietetic Association and able to seek employment as a dietitian who is registry eligible.
