Employer Expansion Program

Eligibility

  • Employers with whom we have not previously placed interns, or
  • Employers whose relationship with the Career Center has lapsed for a period of 5-years or more

Benefits:

  1. Use of employer toolkits or guides that provide practical methods based upon research of best practices for designing, implementing, and managing Job Shadowing, Internship, and Co-op programs.
  2. Experiential Learning Team professionals from Indiana State University’s Career Center will offer onsite visits to help develop relationships and to provide consultation as needed.
  3. Experiential Learning Team professionals will conduct a needs assessment that will identify ways the university can help you meet your staffing needs with ISU interns, Job Shadow and Co-op students, and the placement of alumni in regular position openings.
  4. Experiential Learning Team professionals will assist you in the development of individual value proposals to help your organization meet their staffing needs and place ISU students and graduates.
  5. Develop performance criteria for the process and monitor.
  6. Review quality of program at predetermined intervals (6-12 months) for the purpose of continuously improving the process.
  7. Focus Indiana Scholarship protocol will be adhered to throughout the process.
