January and February- Film Series. Three films hosted by ISU faculty, with discussion

February 10- Music Dept. Scholarship Concert. Roby George is directing an 18 minute orchestral piece (transcribed for band) on Martin Luther King, which includes excerpts from his speeches.

March 5-6- Thavolia Glymph, Duke University, historian of slavery and the household, white and black women (through Organization of American Historians speakers' series).

April 26- Arnold Rampersad, coordinated with Schick Series (English), presenting on W. E. B. DuBois (for Schick, April 25, invitation) and Jackie Robinson for our series on April 26 (public). Will also do at least one classroom visit.
