Mission
First Year Programs is committed to supporting the academic as well as personal success of first-year students by:
- Providing leadership that engages students in community service.
- Facilitating the transition of new students into ISU.
- Promoting a supportive and challenging learning environment.
- Developing programs around stewardship, citizenship, and diversity.
- Bridging communication between students, faculty, and staff.
- Committing to self-evaluation and assessment
- Serving as a campus resource.
