Terre Haute antique dealer for forty-five years, Harold Carson donated his inventory to Indiana State University in 1969. Liquidation by auction occurred in 2000. The sale was advertised as "human interest history". The remaining inventory consists of nine hundred objects from fine art and craft to pop cultural memorabilia.
