Tonya Gimbert
President: Tonya Gimbert


Tonya Gimbert received her Bachelor of Science degree (2003) in Elementary Education from Saint Mary-of-the Woods College and a Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Management (2009) from Indiana State University. She is currently working on a Ph.D. in Curriculum, Instruction, & Media Technology, concentrating on Sport Management. She currently works in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics as the NCAA Compliance Coordinator. Ms. Gimbert has served as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport, as well as the Athletic Academics.

Anupama Ramalinga
Vice-President: Anupama Ramalinga

Anupama Ramalinga is a Ph.D. candidate and teaching instructor in Microbiology Dept. Her aim is to bring awareness among all students to take part in social and community activities organized by GSA.

The success of any activity in the university depends on participation of all students. Such activities will shape the student life as the most memorable experience in their busy studying time schedule. She hopes to bring such difference in the university through GSA.

Jim Johnson
Secretary: Jim Johnson
Jim Johnson is the Director of Instructional & Information Technology in the Bayh College of Education at Indiana State University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Secondary Education certification from Muskingum University. He also holds a Master of Education degree from Ohio University in Curriculum and Instruction with an Education Technology specialty. He is a doctoral candidate at Indiana State. Jim has previously worked as a Director of Technology at the
K-12 and university levels and has taught graduate courses as an adjunct professor for several universities. He also operates his own business, JohnsonTech Computer Services.
Karimulla Shaik
Treasurer: Karimulla Shaik
Karimulla Shaik is a graduate student in the Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology Department. He was born and raised in Hyderabad City(INDIA) and did his undergraduate studies in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His main research interests include Control Systems and Electronics. He also enjoys playing a game of Cricket, Watching Soccer (real Madrid), and listing music.
Casey Burk
Parlimentarian: Casey Burk

Casey J. Burk graduated from Cloverdale High School in 2002. Having an artistic mindset coupled with a unique imagination full of dragons and spaceships, it was believed that he would transition into a creative career. Not surprisingly, life is full of changes and the trek Casey followed also changed: he declared a different major which was more technically-aligned. After five years of hard work, he graduated in May of 2007 with a B.S. in Information Technology.

In 2008, Casey began work in the Education Technology Masters program at ISU and has since changed his life in ways previously unforeseen. He now also works for his Alma Mater as a Programmer Analyst and currently finds himself working side-by-side those he has always admired most.
