Where/how to post:
There are four wall-hung bulletin boards located in the
center area of the Commons and three built -in bulletin boards located
on the ground floor of the Union. Materials can be hung with
thumbtacks and staples only. You may not post over another flier. The
Material must have a contact person's name and phone number on the
back if it is not in the context of the flier.
Posting priority/restrictions:
Campus materials will be hung only if there is
sufficient space related to the number of available boards. Materials
cannot be posted in the Commons if they are in direct competition with
the businesses located there.
Size Requirements:
Materials larger than 81/2" by 14" can be hung on two
designated bulletin boards. There are two large built-in bulletin
boards in the Union for this purpose. One is located near the Sandison
Hall
entrance in the northeast portion of the building and the other is
located near the Sam's entrance at the other end to the building.
Time period for posting and removal
of items:
Materials can be posted for two weeks or until the
event is concluded whichever comes first. At the end of the relevant
time period, we will dispose of all materials.
Responsibility/right
to remove:
The Student Union reserves the right to remove any
outdated, inflammatory, or derogatory material. We will also remove any
materials that are not hung in accordance with the procedures outlined
in this document.
The Student Union is not responsible for any material that has been
removed from the boards nor are we responsible for any damage to
material hung on the bulletin boards. |
