The HMSU 817 Conference room is a unique
technological space available to the University and Wabash Valley
community for activities which require advanced audio-visual or
information technology support. The purpose of this
space is twofold.
1. To provide
additional high profile support to University Suite events
requiring special audio-visual and /or IT activities.
2. To provide updated
technology in the Student Union to assist
meeting presenters and others
with the tools to utilize power point,
DVD's, webinars, etc.
Every reservation will require audio-visual/IT services
appropriate to the event. 817 will not be
available for regular scheduled weekly or monthly meetings so that it
can be available for the purpose for which is was created. Use
with the conjunction with University Suite events will have the highest
priority for reserving this space.
Set-Up: The permanent standard set-up for this space is closed
conference for 18. Food Service:
After placing a room reservation, any requests for food service shall be
arranged with
ISU Catering Services in room 207 for events which meet the
above requirements. Rental Fee:
Outside groups will pay a rental fee of $100 which includes
the use of the technology within the space in addition to any catered food
service fees. AV/IT Equipment:

Video-data projector-ceiling mount
Computer, monitor, standard and wireless keyboard
DVD/VCR combo unit
Internet access on south and east walls
