Catering Services must provide
the food service for the reception, with the exception of the wedding
cake, when they are available and in operation.
All decorations shall be used judiciously and approved by the Student Union. Decorations are not to be affixed to the draperies, chandeliers,
or light fixtures in any manner. All decorations that are to be displayed
on walls or tables must be affixed with masking tape only. No scotch tape,
duct tape, nails, tacks, staples, etc., are to be used.
Table decorations are acceptable as long as no crepe paper
is used. When crepe paper gets wet, the dyes ruin the tablecloths and your
supplier will be billed for the subsequent replacement by their laundry
service. This charge is passed on to the person(s) reserving the space.
Candles may be used only when housed on
receptacles that will catch the melted wax. They should not be surrounded
by flammable material sand must be left in a stationary position.

reservation. No materials and/or equipment shall be left overnight.
Items left over two days will be disposed of at the discretion of the
Student Union.

held financially responsible for any damages caused by decorations or
their attachments. Dance floor used in Dede I
incurs an additional fee of $100. When the
Student Union is closed, a fee of $175 is charged to open and staff the
building. This is in addition to the regular room rental. (Room rental fees are not waived for
wedding receptions.) |
