It doesn't matter if you're a parent or family member of a current student, one of our more than 90,000 alumni, friend of the University, donor, fan or a resident of the Wabash Valley, make plans to come to Indiana State to celebrate Homecoming, a beloved fall TREE-dition. There's so much to do...Check the master calendar of activities to plan your weekend!
Former riders of the Sycamore Tricycle Derby are encouraged to return to campus and relive those riding days as we celebrate the 50th running of the trike race Friday, Oct. 5 by honoring the three race founders - Tom and Debbie Bareford and Michael Simmons.
Saturday is bustling with fun, food and football, beginning at 9 a.m. with the 96th annual Blue and White Parade. Our three trike founders will serve as Grand Parade Marshals, leading a variety of floats, bands, cars and walking units from 9th Street, down Wabash Avenue to 5th Street and back into campus.
Following the parade, head out to Memorial Stadium for Tent City, to re-connect with old friends, student organizations and academic units. Homecoming wouldn’t be complete without football. Indiana State will host Missouri State beginning at 3:05 p.m.
So, what are you waiting for? Get the family together, call up members of the old gang and head to Indiana State for a fall weekend of fun. We're true blue, are you?
