honors classes & Conversion
Honors curriculum requirements
In order to complete the
University Honors Program, students must maintain a 3.25 cumulative
grade point average, a 3.0 grade point average in the Honors program
and complete the Honors core, thesis and one of three
elective tracks.
HONORS CORE
Honors students must complete the following four GH courses:

GH 101: Freshman Honors
Seminar: Contemporary Issues (3 Credits)

GH 201: Sophomore Honors Seminar: Intro. to the Great Works (3 credits)

GH 301: Honors Junior Seminar (3.0 credits)

GH 401: Senior Honors
Seminar: Honors Thesis/Capstone (3 credits) – To be taken after
completing the other courses in the Honors Core
plus 12 credits in the student’s selected track.
Note:
Students who complete the University
Honors curriculum will have met the
following Foundational Studies
requirements: Social and Behavioral
Science, Literary Studies, Fine and
Performing Arts, Ethics and Social
Responsibility, and Upper Division,
Integrative Electives
