Many Honors students have the opportunity to interact with professionals in their field who visit Indiana State.
Members
of the Fall 2009 GH101N: Oscar Wilde seminar met with Merlin Holland,
and Oscar Wilde scholar and editor, and Wilde's only grandson. Holland
visited ISU from Southern France as the keynote for the course's Oscar
Wilde Symposium on November 2, 2009.

Honors
students met with author Bryan Burrough on October 5, 2009. Burrough
visited the campus for the University Speaker Series.
Honors students Lana Schrock and Rebecca Campbell met Robert Osborn, Oscar historian and Turner Classic
Movies host, who spoke at ISU on March 4, 2009 as part of the
University Speaker Series.
A group of Honors students met with CNN Analyst Jeffrey Toobin in the
Rhoads Honors Lounge. Toobin spoke at ISU on November 24, 2008 as part
of the University Speaker Series.
