Graduate Financial Aid

Graduate Assistantships:

Graduate assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis to students pursuing full-time graduate work in the department. A graduate assistant:

Receives a nine month stipend
Receives a tuition waiver (including out-of-state fees)
Works up to 20 hours per week for the department teaching activity classes and/or as a laboratory assistant providing additional experience in professional training

Contact the office of the Department Chairperson to receive eligibility requirements. For full consideration, all application materials should be completed and returned by March 1, for an appointment in the following academic year. Students are encouraged to visit the ISU campus to meet faculty and see departmental facilities.
