Campus-Wide Training Partners
The Training and Development area is committed to working with other ISU departments to ensure that all employees are given the tools necessary to accomplish their jobs and enhance their quality of life. We support training and development opportunities in all areas of our University community.
Our partnership with several ISU Departments and Campus-Associates including: The Equal Opportunity and Title IX Office, The Alliance for Servant-Leadership (ASL), The Office of Inclusive Excellence, Environmental Safety, The ISU Foundation, Public Safety, Office of the Controller, Office of Information Technology (OIT), The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), and the Office of Risk Management, ensures a model of employee enrichment and success for our overall campus community.
The Equal Opportunity and Title IX Office
The Equal Opportunity and Title IX Office is responsible for carrying out Indiana State University's commitment to preventing discrimination on the basis of sex, race, age, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, disability or veteran status, against any of its employees, students or invited guests.
In preventing discrimination, this office strives to not only promptly respond to complaints of discrimination; including harassment, but to provide the ISU community with proactive tools that eliminate potential harm and prevent workplace disruption. In furthering its commitment to equal opportunity, the University requires that all new employees successfully complete two anti-discrimination training modules within the first 30 days of employment:
- Preventing Employment Discrimination
- Preventing Sexual Harassment
The successful completion of these modules will assist in ensuring compliance, by educating our campus community on using proactive tools that eliminate potential harm and prevent workplace disruption. After completing these modules, it is the expectation of the University that you will serve in making our campus a harassment-free and caring community.
