Relocation Assistance and Information

quality of life initiative

In the fall of 2009, Indiana State University launched a new five-year strategic plan, “The Pathway to Success.” Goal six of this plan is to “take measures to enhance the University’s ability to recruit and retain great faculty and staff in order to realize its goals and fulfill its mission.”

One of the initiatives designed to advance the University toward this goal is to enhance the quality of life for faculty and staff. There are a wide range of action items within this initiative, all of which are designed to create a supportive, welcoming work environment that provides the resources and tools necessary for faculty and staff to succeed.

One of the action items, providing more assistance to new employees who are relocating to the Wabash Valley, has prompted the creation of this website. This site is designed as a resource to provide access to information often needed when moving to a new community. This information is only a starting point and is not intended to be an endorsement of any particular company, product or service.

Suggestions for ways to enhance this site are always appreciated. They can be sent here.
