Spouse / Partner Fee Waiver

Ø  Spouses and Same-Sex Domestic Partners (with a same-sex affidavit on file) of full-time, regular, benefits-eligible employees may apply for a fee waiver on Indiana State University classes.

Ø  Eighty percent (80%) of qualified tuition will be waived. (does not include mandatory fees)

Ø  Maximum waived is fifteen (15) credit hours per academic year. 

Ø  Spouse/ partners who enroll in graduate courses and participate in the fee waiver program,  will have the amount of the fee waiver benefit added to the employee's taxable income and additional withholding will be deducted from the employee's payroll check. For spring coursework, additional deductions will be taken from the May and June checks; for fall coursework, additional deductions will be taken from the November and December checks. 

Ø  One-year and/or temporary appointments are not eligible for this benefit.
