Strategic Plan

Strategic Plan: 2016-2021

Mission

The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is committed to fostering an environment that is representative of our nation. In fostering such an environment, we are dedicated to routine examinations of our campus community and to addressing any barriers, practices, policies and structures that impact equity and equality for any members of our community. In alignment with Indiana State University’s mission of dedication to teaching and the creation of knowledge, the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion looks to increase diversity within our campus workforce, continue our efforts to bridge the gap between our campus community and the Terre Haute community, and assist in efforts to retain and graduate our entire student population. We strive to create a campus climate where inclusive excellence is embedded within all facets of our university. Unity Strengthens Blue!
