W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Access to Recreation Initiative: Indiana Access to Recreation Community Foundation Grant 
This foundation has developed a new grant program to support community foundations in Indiana in convening partnerships around the issue related to creating universal, barrier free access to recreation environments and opportunities in the community, assisting community partners in undertaking and completing recreation accessibility projects, and establishing a permanent endowment fund to support ongoing access to recreation work.

This foundation gives grants to fund public skateparks.
 
 Edward W. Hazen Foundation
This foundation offers small grants up to $5,000 to rural communities and minorities in the areas of youth development and education. The youth development program may be a good fit for your rural recreation program.
