- Indiana State University - Office
of Sponsored Programs
- graciously provides grant searching and writing assistance to rural
communities that are partnering with the Indiana Rural Recreation
Development Project. If you would like to work with ISU's Office of

Association for
Small Foundations
- This link contains a list of member foundations in Indiana and links
to member's IRS PF-990 form. An IRS PF-990 form can be helpful by
showing you who is on the Board of Directors of that organization, what
types of organizations they fund, what types of projects they fund, and
how much they give per grant.

- is a forum for discussion groups that are related to all aspects of
fundraising for not-for-profits. This organization also has an e-mail
newsletter available.
- Council on Foundations
- is a membership organization that serves the public good by
promoting and enhancing responsible and effective philanthropy. This is
a Washington, D.C. based organization that provides information and
education for grant writers. This web site has an excellent glossary for
not-for-profit vocabulary.

- This link contains an on-line library with free orientations,
directories of private and corporate foundations, grant lists, annual
reports, and giving guidelines. The Grantseeker's Toolbox and a
searchable database are also available.
- Google
- This is an internet search engine that is excellent for grant
seeking.

Grant Station
- quickly and easily links nonprofits to all current sources of grant
money, while also teaching these organizations how to secure available
funding. This web site offers a free e-funding newsletter called the
Grant Station Insider.

- is a privately owned web site created in 1996 for the purpose of
providing non-profit organizations, colleges, and universities with
information on financial resources available on the Internet.

- is an informational and interactive resource center for and about
the non-profit community. Data about private foundation activities that
may be of interest to grant seekers, philanthropic organizations, and
individual donors are available.

GuideStar
- This is the national database of non-profit organizations,
which can be used to search for foundations IRS PF-990 forms.
- Indiana Park and
Recreation Association (IPRA)-Grants
- IPRA adds new grant information to this list periodically that is
related to funding for parks and recreation.

- This web site provides resources on available grants from government
agencies and private foundations.
- Indiana Youth Institute-Grant Info
- This organization catalogs and links to grants
related to youth development from government agencies and private
foundations.

Center
- This web site is a nationally-recognized resource that has a
searchable database, online library resources, electronic newsletters,
discussion boards, and cooperating collections.
- The Grantsmanship Center International (TGCI)
- was founded in 1972 to offer grantsmanship training and low-cost
publications to nonprofit organizations and government agencies. This
site contains links to federal funding sources and offers a free
publication.
