Camping Association-Legislative Issues and Public Policy
- This site provides the latest federal legislative information
related to the camp industry.

Contacting the Indiana General Assembly
- This site allows you to figure out who represents you in the
Illinois General Assembly. This site will also give you the contact
information for your State Representative and State Senator. The
InRRDP staff encourages recreation directors and Citizen Action Committee
members to invite your State Representative and State Senator to your
Summer Daze-Community Pride Night.

the U.S. Congress
- is a very up-to-date database of congressional contact information
for the 108th Congress. You can figure out who represents you in the
U.S. Congress. Also, you can locate your Representative's and Senators'
web sites, and local and Washington, D.C. office contact information.

Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD)-Public Policy
- is a nonprofit service, research and education organization that
represents park districts, forest preserves, conservation and recreation
agencies. IAPD Public Policy follows bills in the Illinois General
Assembly that affect the delivery of public park, recreation, and
leisure services.

- This web site allows you to actively follow the progression of
proposed bills. You can also set up a personal account where you follow
certain bills through the process.

Indiana Municipal League
- offers membership to any city, village, or incorporated town in the
State of Illinois. The IML serves as a common meeting ground for all
municipalities and municipal officials of the State. IML follow
legislation in the Illinois General Assembly that affects
municipalities.

Recreation and Park Association (NRPA)-Public Policy
- informs national lawmakers, public officials and others of the value
of public parks and recreation. Working in collaboration with allied
groups, state recreation and park societies and NRPA members, the
division supports and advances national legislation, policies, and
programs that encourage greater public investment in recreation
resources.

- is a free service that is open to both NRPA members and non-members.
After registering for this service, you will receive up to the minute
updates of current federal legislation that relates to parks,
recreation, open space, and youth development. It is a critical tool for
organizing parks and recreation advocates on national, state, and local
policy issues.
