Participants will receive Korean government scholarships and teach English in after-school classes of Korean elementary schools while enjoying cultural programs during their free time. Recipients will be placed at schools in rural areas in need of greater exposure to English and teach the language by forming one-on-one working relationships with Korean university TaLK Scholars. Candidates should have a desire to work with children, have a service-centered mind, a willingness to work in rural areas and have consideration for others with a positive attitude
The program provides a return-trip air ticket, monthly allowances, and housing. You will have 15 hours per week of actual teaching time (Monday through Friday). You will have numerous opportunities to visit cultural sites, participate in various fun activities, and ample personal enrichment time.

The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship invites recent college graduates to apply for 6 - 9-month fellowships in Washington, DC, focusing on arms control, peace, and international security issues.
Candidates must have an excellent academic record and a strong interest in issues of peace and security. The program is open to all U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens living in the U.S. eligible for employment.
Benefits include a stipend, health insurance and travel to Washington, DC.
