Undergraduate Summer I Admits

      Go to: http://www.indstate.edu/admissions/orientation_info/checklist-international.htm and complete each step.  The University uses your new Sycamore e-mail account as the exclusive means of providing important information to you.

You are required to arrive on campus no later than May 30, 2013.*

Required Orientation Program:  Friday, May 31, 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

*If you do not attend orientation on May 31, 2013 you will not be allowed to enroll in the University.   Failure to enroll will result in failure to maintain legal immigration status and will necessitate your return home.  Make travel arrangements which will allow you to avoid this undesirable outcome.  You will find information concerning these requirements at http://www.indstate.edu/ips/NewStudentOrientation.htm    

Undergraduate Summer II Admits

Required Orientation Program:   June 27-28, 7:30 a.m.

*If you do not attend orientation on June 27-28 you will not be allowed to enroll in the University.   Failure to enroll will result in failure to maintain legal immigration status and will necessitate your return home.  Make travel arrangements which will allow you to avoid this undesirable outcome.

Immigration Seminar

The purpose of International Student Orientation is to provide new students with valuable information that will help them adjust to studying and living in the U.S. and the opportunity to get to know other students and ISU staff. Attendance at this program is required.

In addition, an Immigration Seminar is required for all international students. Topics included in orientation and the immigration seminar are important immigration regulations, housing and dining services, health care, banking, transportation, student employment, safety, community engagement and student activities and organizations. New students also have the chance to meet returning students as well as representatives from various international student organizations during orientation.

To register for coursework, international students must attend International Orientation. To register for this program, follow these instructions:

Students must attend the following events. Bring your I-20, Passport, Visa and I-94 to all events.
