ISU, NETA hosting two fitness training workshops
Indiana State University and the National Exercise Trainers Association, a non-profit fitness professional association, are co-sponsoring two workshops for potential and current fitness instructors.
The Group Exercise Workshop will teach fitness instructors the basic academic and practical applications of teaching group exercise. The Workshop begins Saturday, March 12 at 8 a.m. Cost for the Group Exercise certification is $229 for registration prior to Feb. 12, $259 for registration after Feb. 12.
The Cardio Mix Workshop is a continuing education workshop that will help fitness instructors create great choreography for cardio classes and review the principals of aerobic music and choreography building essentials. The workshop will cover the art of mixing Step, Hi-Lo and Cardio-Sculpt movements. This workshop begins Sunday, March 13 at 8 a.m. Cost of the workshop is $79.
Both workshops will take place at Indiana State University's College of Health and Human Performance building, Fifth and Chestnut streets in Terre Haute.
