Undergraduate Curricula
The Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education requires 82 semester hours of work, 52 semester hours in the major and 30 semester hours in the teaching curriculum through the School of Education. In addition, 47-50 semester hours of General Education is required to complete the degree.
This major may be added to the Senior High-Junior High/Middle School Instructional License and provides coverage at all grade levels.

Admission to the Teacher Education Program
The student must hold a baccalaureate degree with a minimum calculative GPA of 2.5 or greater and no grade below C in the professional education courses. Licensing in the State of Indiana requires passing the PRAXIS I (PPST or CPPST) and the relevant PRAXIS II test--Content Specialty. The student must pass all sections of PRAXIS I in order to take Phase II, III, IV courses. The student must take all relevant PRAXIS II tests and score within one standard measure of the State score in order to take Phase IV courses. Admission to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) is required of all students prior to enrolling in professional education courses beyond Phase I. Note, SPED 226 may be completed during Phase I, II, or III.
