ARBC 101 Elementary Arabic I -- 3 credits. This course is an
introduction to culture and language, and the culture, lifestyle, and
customs of Arabic-language speakers. Fundamentals of language
(pronunciation, intonation, grammatical structures), with development of
communicative skills in a cultural context will be discussed. Includes
an open-hour laboratory. [FS 2010: Non-Native Language]
ARBC 102 Elementary Arabic II -- 3 credits. This course is a
continuation of Arabic 101. Includes an open-hour laboratory.
Prerequisites: ARBC 101 or equivalent. (FS 2010: Non-Native Language]
