About Leadership Wabash
Valley
Leadership Wabash Valley is a nonpartisan community
leadership educational program. The program is designed to identify
potential community leaders, assist them in the development of their
community leadership skills, and enhance their ability to positively
impact the community.
LWV seeks to achieve its
purpose by:
Identifying potential
leaders from all segments of the community;
-
Developing a
leadership-training program for potential leaders;
-
Educating these
potential leaders about the challenges and opportunities of the
community;
-
Bringing potential
leaders into contact with existing leaders and encouraging
debate/discussion;
-
Building a realistic
understanding of leadership in the community;
-
Encouraging these
potential leaders to take an active role in the community; and
-
Forming an association
of program graduates to sustain LTH and provide a forum for
discussion of current issues of the community.
