Participating in Leadership Wabash Valley

This nine month program includes opening and closing retreats and monthly day-long sessions combining leadership skills training with community education. The sessions feature panel discussions, tours and activities associated with many aspects of the community including:
  • Agriculture
  • Arts and cultural activities
  • Business and industry
  • Education
  • Government
  • Healthcare
  • Human services
  • Legal system
  • Local Media

Class members also research, plan and implement class projects focusing on a specific problem or issue facing the community. Many of the projects are conducted cooperatively with other community groups or organizations.
