Mentoring Assistance Program

Our Mission

It is our mission to ensure that there exists a program addressing key issues affecting minority student retention, here at Indiana state university.

Research has suggested that certain factors aid in the completion rate of historically under represented Americans. Mentoring Assitance for prospective scholars makes those components available to our students. These invlude, but are not limited to...

  • A link to the university infrastructure, through the experience of being mentored by faculty, professionals, or graduate level members of the Indiana State community.
  • Financial Assitance through a monetary stipend for work done with their mentor./
  • The oppurtunity for campus involvement through our "Tiers" program, which is designed to support and encourage community wide participation on the part of our student-scholars.
