I am a first generation college student born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in
Hammond, Indiana. I also do community service work with Americore by
mentoring children at a local community center. Additionally, I am
involved with the Organization for Students in Physical Education (OSPE)
and Promoting Health Across Campus Together (PHACT). I have a goal of
one day becoming a professor at a college or university and believe the
McNair Graduate Opportunity Program can help guide me in obtaining that
goal.
