ISU Students: Available Software

Microsoft products that will be distributed under the Microsoft Campus Agreement 3.4 are listed below. Be sure to check the appropriate website for system requirements.

Note: Students will be required to show their ISU picture ID and sign an acceptance form prior to receiving the software. 


Where do I pick-up my software?

On-Campus students can download the software directly to your PC or Mac. Go to http://downloads.indstate.edu and follow the instructions. The only available software item that cannot be downloaded is the Windows/XP operating system. If you already have a PC, you probably do not need this. If you do need the operating system, you can pick up a CD at the walk-in Help Desk in the Student Computing Complex, in room 127. You will be required to show an ISU picture ID and sign an acceptance form.

Distance Education students can also download the software directly to a PC or Mac. Go to http://downloads.indstate.edu and follow the instructions. The only available software item that cannot be downloaded is the Windows/XP operating system. You probably do not need this, if you already have a PC. If you do need the operating system, you can request that a copy be mailed to you. You will need to print and fill out the MSCA Acceptance Form, located at: http://www.indstate.edu/oit/msca/campusagreementform.pdf. You need to initial the line next to each statement, then sign and date the form.

Distance Education students who cannot come to campus can request CDs by submitting their request on a form.

In order to process your request for software you will need to print and fill out the MSCA Acceptance Form, located at: http://www.indstate.edu/oit/msca/mscaacceptance.pdf. You need to initial the line next to each statement, then sign and date the form.

When completed mail the form to:

In addition to the completed acceptance form you will need to include your Full Name, Mailing Address, Student ID #, Phone, E-mail, what software application(s), and either Windows or Macintosh operating system.

What software can I get?
You can choose the Windows or Macintosh operating system.

Windows Software:

  • Office 2007 Enterprise Edition (Includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Infopath, Publisher, OneNote, and Groove)
  • Sharepoint Designer 2007
  • Visual Studio.NET 2003 or 2005
  • Windows XP Pro Upgrade

Macintosh Software:

  • Office 2004 (Includes Word, Entourage, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Office X (Includes Word, Entourage, Excel, and PowerPoint)
