Music Scholarships
Scholarship Name: Barbara Booe Bushong Flute-Picolo Award
Description: Mr. And Mrs. J. A. Gremelpacher established
the Barbara Booe Bushong Flute-Picolo Award in 1968 to honor their
daughter, Barbara Booe Bushong, who played flute-piccolo in the
ISU Symphonic Band, Orchestra, and Terre Haute Symphony.
Open To: undergraduate students
Selection Criteria: The award is open to a junior or senior
flute and/or piccolo performer with a minimum 2.5 GPA who has contributed
most to the University during the current year through participation
in the University Symphonic Band and/or Wind Ensemble, and Marching
Band.
Award Amount:$300.00 to $400.00
Number of Awards Given Annually: 1
How to Apply: The Directors of Wind Ensemble, Symphonic
Band and Marching Band select a recipient annually in the spring.
There is no formal application process.
