Music Scholarships

Scholarship Name: Mary Fuller Day Award

Description: The Mary Fuller Day Award was established in 1989 by her husband, David I. Day, Jr., to honor the memory of Mrs. Day. Born in Dale, Indiana, Mrs. Day earned a degree in the School of Music at DePauw University. She later taught in public schools at Worthington and Chrisney, Indiana.

Open To: undergraduate students

Selection Criteria: The scholarship award is open to music education majors from the Indiana counties of Spencer and/or Vigo. Students who entered Cottey College as a resident of Indiana and attended Cottey College for at least one full academic year are also eligible.

Award Amount: $1,000.00 to $1,500 .00

Number of Awards Given Annually: 1

How to Apply: Application materials are available in the Music Department office in January and are due in early February.
