Music Scholarships
Scholarship Name: George M. Graesch Wind Scholarship
Description: The George M. Graesch Wind Scholarship was
established in 1984 in honor of George Graesch who retired from
the music faculty at the end of the 1983-84 academic year. The scholarship
was established with contributions from students, alumni, colleagues,
family and other friends of George M. Graesch in honor of 31 years
of service at the University. Mr. Graesch also contributed to the
fund.
Open To: undergraduate students
Selection Criteria: The scholarship is open to freshmen
or transfer students majoring in music who demonstrate outstanding
performing ability and academic record.
Award Amount: The award covers in-state fees less the amount(s)
of any other scholarship support such as the Academic Scholarship,
Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship, etc.
Number of Awards Given Annually: 1
How to Apply: The scholarship is awarded based on the music
audition.
