Music Scholarships
Scholarship Name: Silvio Hein Memorial Scholarship
Description: The Silvio Hein Memorial Scholarship was established
in trust by the late Mrs. Hein in 1963 as a memorial to her husband
who was a musician.
Open To: graduate students
Selection Criteria: The scholarship is open to graduate
students who hold an undergraduate degree from Indiana State University
with a ranking in the upper 25% of the music major and special talents
in musical composition.
Award Amount: $1,000.00 to $1,500.00
Number of Awards Given Annually: 1
How to Apply: There is no formal application process. The
Department of Music faculty recommends a qualified graduate student
through a nomination and selection process. The facultyÍs recommendation
is forwarded to the Old National Bank Trust Department for approval
and disbursement of funds.
