Scholarship Name: Eleanor Reid Justice Piano Scholarship
Description: The Eleanor Reid Justice Piano Scholarship
was established in 1991 by Charles J. Justice to honor his mother,
Eleanor Reid Justice. Mrs. Justice was born in Mansfield, Ohio,
and began formal piano study at the age of six at Saint PeterÍs
Academy in Mansfield where she completed her degree requirements
during her sophomore year of high school. After retiring in 1981,
Mrs. Justice worked part-time for the Terre Haute Symphony Association
until 1988 when she moved to Bowie, Maryland.
Open To: undergraduate students
Selection Criteria: The scholarship is open to an academically
talented piano major with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarship
may be awarded annually to an incoming freshman or renewed.
Award Amount: $500.00
Number of Awards Given Annually: 1
How to Apply: There is no formal application process. The
recipient is selected by Keyboard Division faculty.
