Music Scholarships
Scholarship Name: Gertrude F. Meyer Music Scholarship
Description: The Gertrude F. Meyer Music Scholarship was
made possible through the generosity of Miss Gertrude F. Meyer.
Miss Meyer served on the Indiana State University Department of
Music faculty for 15 years and last held the academic rank of Associate
Professor of Music when she resigned in 1961 to accept another position.
Open To: undergraduate students
Selection Criteria: The scholarship is open to vocal music
education majors who demonstrate both talent and need.
Award Amount: $500.00 to $1,500.00
Number of Awards Given Annually: 10
How to Apply: The scholarship is awarded based on the audition
and/or performance record in addition to other established criteria.
