Music Scholarships
Scholarship Name: John P. Spicknall Scholarship
Description: The John P. Spicknall Scholarship was established
in 1988 by Dr. John Spicknall, a faculty member since 1969 in the
Department of Music. It is his desire to provide financial assistance
to students who demonstrate exceptional talent in music, with an
emphasis in woodwind or jazz performance, enrolled in Indiana State
University.
Open To: undergraduate students
Selection Criteria: The scholarship is open to students
enrolled at ISU who demonstrate exceptional talent in music with
an emphasis in woodwind or jazz performance.
Award Amount: $500.00 to $1,500.00
Number of Awards Given Annually: 1
How to Apply: The scholarship is awarded based on the audition
and/or performance record in addition to other established criteria.
There is no formal application process.
