Admission to the University

2. Students who wish to be considered for University-level scholarships must apply for admission before December 1.

Acceptance to the Department of Music

1. Submit Application Form for Undergraduate Majors and Minors
2. Schedule on-campus audition. On-campus auditions are preferable for scholarship consideration. Should circumstances prevent a live audition, students may be granted conditional acceptance based on a recorded performance (CD, audio cassette, or video tape).
3. Request at least one Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or other professional familiar with your musical ability.
4. Students who wish to be considered for Department-level scholarships should complete a Scholarship Application Form prior to the audition
5. All music scholarships are performance based. If you are interested in consideration for a music scholarship you must be accepted as a student at ISU by February 1, 2010 and you must audition on or before February 13, 2010.
