Missed Lesson Policy:

Lessons may be rescheduled if the student notifies me at least 24 hours in advance regarding the lesson conflict. Lessons missed without advance notification will not be made up. Unexcused absences will result in an "F" for that week's lesson. Absences totalling more than 25% of the scheduled lesson times will automatically result in the student failing the course for the semester. Weekly lesson grades will count for 2/3 of the final grade, and the jury at the end of the semester will count for 1/3 of the final grade.

It is the student's responsibility to watch the Saxo Board and check their email for lesson time and special event postings. The next week's lesson schedule will be posted every Friday afternoon.

Recitals:

Students are expected to attend their fellow classmates' saxophone student recitals. This includes junior, senior, divisional, departmental, and chamber music recitals. Students are also expected to attend guest saxophone recitals and master classes. Attendance will be taken at all of these events and will affect your studio grade. If you cannot attend a recital or master class, let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
